CB Mercuray

The CB Mercuray is a revolutionary new imaging system from Hitachi that applies digital cone beam x-ray technology to fully visualize the facial regions of a patient. This digital scanner rotates around the patients head 360 degrees in just 10 seconds, providing 2D images and 3D reconstruction for advanced planning and diagnostic support.

Scan Process

The patient sits comfortably in the CB Mercuray chair while they're adjusted to the proper position. Once comfortable, the radiologist or radiologist technician proceeds with the ten second scan. After which, the images are reconstructed and saved in a period of 5 minutes.

These images can then be printed out on film or glossy paper or they can even be saved as jpeg iimages to be emailed to the referring doctor. Our in-house radiologist will also be available to the read the images and produce a formal report
